Pierre Laclede Center is a landmark office complex, consisting of two office towers, occupying an entire city block in downtown Clayton, MO. The complex is situated within a flourishing business district and is home to many prestigious businesses and organizations. The property owners have embarked on a rigorous capital improvement project which includes extensive exterior site work. As part of the overall design team, Planning Design Studio developed a landscape master plan for the office tower complex which is planned to be implemented in a phased approach that is carefully coordinated with other improvement projects. PDS's challenge was to create a new outdoor space with no modification to the below grade parking garage and structure. The new plan will enhance the outdoor experience, matching the high level of amenities experienced throughout the development.
