Planning Design Studio was selected to prepare a master plan for a 36-acre community park in the City of Edwardsville, Illinois. PDS conducted a site analysis, resource analysis and programming workshop with city officials. The results were formulated into a development program that served as the basis of design for preparation of the master plan.

The program statement included the following items: multi-purpose baseball and softball fields, Miracle League field, practice soccer field, pavilions and shelters of varying sizes and uses, community and water playgrounds, skate park, storm water treatment and aesthetic water features, trails, and a community center.

The master plan illustrations, descriptions and cost budgets were used in support of several grant applications.
