The City of O'Fallon, Missouri selected Planning Design Studio to assist the City with the completion of its long range comprehensive park and recreation master plan. Using input from a community-wide citizen survey, stakeholder interviews, and multiple public meetings as its basis, the final plan will address the 10-year future community-wide needs as illustrated on an overall city wide plan showing proposed parks and trails. Conceptual plans were developed for improvements and additions to eight existing parks.

The comprehensive scope in the plan also called for a recreation program review with a resulting action plan evaluating the strengths and needs of the current program delivery system. Additional investigations included Park Maintenance and Operations along with the current Park Ranger program, focusing on the necessary improvements and additions anticipated to support the park system in the future.
