Amanda Kesler
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE INTERN

Amanda’s interest in landscape architecture evolved after completing an undergraduate liberal-arts degree in architecture and environmental studies. She is drawn to team-based creative solutions and collaborative design cultures. Her previous experiences within a civil engineering, planning, and design firm included a variety of projects that involved: grant writing at the State and Federal level, greenhouse gas analysis, comprehensive plan drafting, concept design, graphic design, and GIS. She is a third-year Master of Landscape Architecture student at Washington University in St. Louis, where her research explores the intersection of public health and landscape architecture, focusing on how thoughtfully designed spaces can promote community well-being and environmental resilience. In addition to her studies, Amanda is a seasonal part-time collegiate women’s soccer coach, a role that fuels her passion for athletics, leadership, and growing community cultures.
