For this city-wide park master plan, Planning Design Studio provided a vision for how the city’s park system could be improved. It began by performing an extensive inventory and analysis of all resources and conditions for each city park. PDS also conducted stakeholder interviews and held multiple public meetings to gather input on park and amenity needs.

Our comprehensive conceptual master plan establishes connectivity between parks, neighborhoods and regional greenways through expanded trail and sidewalk connections.  The plan identifies potential locations for additional parks to equalize park land distribution throughout the community.  We created conceptual redevelopment designs for each of the city’s eight parks, and provided the city with implementation strategies for carrying out the plan.
