Greenways are an important community asset that lessen vehicular dependence, improve property values, stabilize tax bases, and increase quality of life.  Planning Design Studio’s greenway designs are guided by our principles of enhancing communities and economic vitality while increasing environmental sustainability.  We have worked extensively with the Great Rivers Greenway (GRG) District, including designing and implementing their pilot greenway project, the River des Peres Greenway.  This project established design standards for all future trails, bridges, parking areas and landscape plantings developed within the GRG District.  We design each greenway project with a distinctive aesthetic that highlights the surrounding natural beauty and creates a sense of community identity.
