Planning Design Studio, serving as a subconsultant to Gray Design Group, provided comprehensive site design services for the major building addition and exterior renovation of the Weissman Theatrical Supplies campus. The project scope included the development of detailed construction documents and construction-period services, ensuring that all site improvements seamlessly complemented the architectural vision for the expanded facility.

 

The redesigned campus celebrates creativity, wellness, and
environmental stewardship, transforming the site into a vibrant outdoor environment that enhances the daily experience of both employees and visitors. Extensive landscape improvements create a cohesive and engaging campus identity, incorporating sustainable design practices and a strong connection between the built and natural environments.

 

Key design elements include a decorative entry plaza and pedestrian circulation system featuring distinctive paving patterns and materials, a striking focal water feature that integrates a bridge, pavilion, and series of rain gardens for stormwater management and visual interest, and a looping fitness trail with dedicated yoga and exercise stations.
