Planning Design Studio’s design for this new park seamlessly meshes with the park’s beautiful surroundings in a charming, established neighborhood.  Key to this success were design choices which (1) preserved the site’s valuable mature trees, and (2) emulated the style of a nearby historic train station in the design of the park’s stone pavilion.

To add comfort and character to the park, we placed park benches beneath the shade trees, added a drinking fountain, and installed beautiful landscape plantings.  Finally, we created whimsy with an all-inclusive play structure placed atop a colorful poured-in-place safety surface.
