This city park renovation project featured the redesign of a much-loved but worn-out wood play structure.  PDS helped the city build a large, accessible forest-themed destination playground.  The play area includes age-separated zones for children of all ages to play safely.  Iconic tree-shaped play structures surrounded by mature trees give the playground a forest-like aesthetic.  An adjacent picnic pavilion provides shade and seating for supervising adults.

PDS’s design also included a special event area with three new pavilions organized in a half circle around a central open space.  The creative design allows the space to flexibly host various festivals and special events throughout the year.
