Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Designer
Position Description
Planning Design Studio is seeking an entry-level landscape architect/designer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in the design process and work on a variety of exciting projects that make a real impact on the built environment.

Our office is located in downtown Maplewood a historic suburb of St. Louis which is home to the Nation's First Green Dining District, and independent shops that create an exciting and livable community. Our firm emphasizes a creative and process-oriented design approach to develop environmentally responsive, sustainable, and exciting community spaces that exceed client expectations.
Requirements
We are seeking a creative individual with a well-rounded grasp on the fundamentals of landscape architecture. This individual has a strong desire to be involved in projects that move from idea to reality. Technical knowledge and excellent organizational skills are important, as well as being a collaborator and someone who really appreciates working in a team atmosphere. This position is for full-time employment (40 hours per week).​
Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Designer applicants should be recent graduates with a degree from an accredited landscape architecture program. For this position, we are looking for the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:

Strong analytical, planning, design, and technical skills

Experience with and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and SketchUp

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are necessary

Initiative-taker that enjoys a fast-paced work environment that can contribute to achieving successful project completion

Our office is nestled in the charming downtown area of Maplewood, a historic suburb of St. Louis. The neighborhood is home to the Nation's First Green Dining District and many small independent shops that create an exciting and livable community. Coffee shops and lunch spots are all in easy walking distance from the office as well as Sutton Loop Park, a park master plan project that Planning Design Studio had the pleasure of working on.
