Great Rivers Greenway and the City of Brentwood selected Planning Design Studio to lead key developments within the Brentwood Bound Initiative—a comprehensive effort to explore alternatives and cost implications for connecting Brentwood and Webster Groves through the Deer Creek Greenway. This corridor links neighborhoods, the Manchester Road business district, the Promenade shopping area, Hanley Industrial Park, and several Brentwood parks to the larger regional Deer Creek Greenway.

As part of the initiative, PDS assessed the feasibility of an elevated pedestrian bridge and underground crossing at Manchester Road to improve safety and accessibility for walkers and cyclists. The master plan also introduced an urban wetland trail system, enhanced park connections, and the addition of a new dog park.
