Noel Fehr

Principal

As a founding principal of Planning Design Studio, Noel provides leadership and project management on public realm projects such as greenways, parks and urban design/streetscape enhancements. The specialized experience he brings to PDS ranges from site master planning through final design/contract documents and construction period services. His design projects are well known for their placemaking and sustainable attributes. Over 20 of his projects have received planning or design awards from ASLA, APA and other professional organizations.

His past experience includes GRG’s River Des Peres and Mississippi River Greenways; Creve Coeur Gateway & Bio-Research Corridor; Missouri Botanical Garden Streetscape; Vago Park and Midland Creek bio-stabilization; National Park Service projects at Blue Ridge Parkway, Stones River NB, Cane River NHA; Heritage Park; Chattahoochee River NRA; Lafayette’s Bayou Vermilion Master Plan; Niagara Reservation - Gorge View Park Master Plan; Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery; National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency; and many municipal parks.

Noel has served on the Board of Directors for Gateway Greening (STL’s Community Garden Advocacy Organization), Faust Park Foundation and several food pantries. He is currently on the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects.
