The annual Missouri Parks and Recreation Association (MPRA) Conference was held at the Branson Convention Center February 26 - March 1, 2019. Planning Design Studio (PDS) participated again this year by presenting an Education Session and exhibiting at the EXPO Hall.
The education session titled “A..B..Cs of Park Facility Assessments: How to Guidelines for Completing” was presented by Scott Emmelkamp, ASLA and Andy Franke, ASLA. The session was ‘standing room only’ with over 60 participants! Attendees learned how to complete master planning level park facility assessments and reviewed case studies from selected PDS park projects.
At the EXPO Hall Scott and Andy showcased numerous park projects with a rolling slideshow in the booth. It was a great opportunity to network with existing clients and make new connections.
