Principal Landscape Architect Scott Emmelkamp

Scott’s passion for landscape architecture began as a way to combine his artistic talents with his interest in creative problem-solving. As a managing principal at PDS, Scott oversees project management, business development, firm operations, and client support. His broad experience encompasses planning, public engagement, master planning, site design, construction documentation, cost estimating, and construction period services. He has worked on both large and small projects across four continents.

Beyond his work at PDS, Scott plays an active role in professional organizations and serves on professional advisory committees for landscape architecture programs at two universities. He is also deeply involved in the conservation community, volunteering for invasive species removal events and litter clean-ups in the region.
