Riverview Park Public Meeting No. 2

A second public meeting was held on June 25 at Hannibal City Hall to discuss the new Riverview Park Master Plan in Hannibal, Missouri. Andrew Franke and Jeff Nilges, both Principals and Landscape Architects at Planning Design Studio, were in attendance at the meeting. Due to the great feedback Planning Design Studio received at the meeting, we have been able to develop a solid plan for what is to come at Riverview Park.

Planning Design Studio's overall goal is to enhance the natural beauty of the park and restore its historical significance. A significant part of the project will be the removal of invasive species and tree preservation to improve the overall sustainability of the park. Some of the potential improvements that the community could see at Riverview Park include upgrades to the park entrance, new play structures, and safer pedestrian and bicycle trails.
