Principal Scott Emmelkamp and Landscape Architect Jonathan Corbett attended the Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) Regional Trail Connector Study public input sessions during the week of August 5th in Cape Girardeau and Jackson, Missouri.
The primary goal of the SEMPO Regional Trail Connector Study is to connect trail routes throughout the City of Cape Girardeau and the City of Jackson, Missouri. This trail alignment study will have a significant impact on the community and the natural environment, providing more accessible and safer ways for pedestrians to travel while also encouraging sustainable transportation methods. The two public input sessions were put in place to inform the communities on this exciting, new project and gather substantial feedback that will assist in the planning and design process. The project team is so thankful for everyone who attended these meetings, and we are so excited to put your words into action!
